According to Uzbekistan Cinematography Agency, Film Studio of Documentary and Chronicle Films SUE is shooting a feature film about the Hero of Uzbekistan, People's Poet of Uzbekistan, the author of the anthem of the country Abdulla Aripov.

“The last months of Abdulla Oripov’s life were spent in America”, the director of the film Muzaffarkhan Erkinov said. – He lived in Houston, Texas. Therefore, we are shooting the film in the house of the poet’s daughter Mavluda Aripova, as well as on the shores of the Pacific Ocean, where the poet loved to walk so much.

Filming is underway in the American cities of Houston, Los Angeles and New York. The image of Abdulla Aripov in old age is created by the Honored Artist of Uzbekistan, actor of Surkhandarya Regional Theater Kudratilla Burkhanov, the role of the poet’s wife Hanifa Mustafayeva is played by the People’s Artist of Uzbekistan Gulchekhra Jamilova. The holder of the Dustlik Order, poet Shodmonkul Salom, young talented actress Raykhon Asadova and others are also playing in the film.

The main producer of the film is Firdavs Abdukhalikov, the scriptwriters are Minhajiddin Mirzo, Muqaddas Usmanova and Furkat Usmanov, the director of photography is Muzaffarkhan Erkinov and the operator director is Ravshan Mirzakamolov.

The premiere of the film will take place at the end of the year.
