At the initiative of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan, a festive event dedicated to the 31st anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of Uzbekistan was held in Jeddah.

The event was attended by compatriots temporarily residing in Saudi Arabia.

At the meeting, it was noted that the renewed Constitution, adopted in a referendum on April 30 this year, reflects the aspirations of the Uzbekistan people to build a New Uzbekistan. Participants also drew attention to the large-scale democratic transformations being implemented in the country.

In conclusion, the event participants got acquainted with the essential tasks being implemented in Uzbekistan to create a favorable business environment for investors and entrepreneurs. In particular, in accordance with Article 67 of the renewed Constitution, it was emphasized that the state shall provide a favorable investment and business environment.
