The Tashkent regional round of the national festival of children’s art “Kamalak Yulduzlari” (Rainbow Stars) has gathered around 900 girls and boys aged 6-15.

The Tashkent regional round of the national festival of children’s art “Kamalak Yulduzlari” (Rainbow Stars) has gathered around 900 girls and boys aged 6-15.

Special attention is paid under the leadership of our country’s President to the creation of necessary conditions and opportunities to nurture a young generation as comprehensively advanced individuals and support them and discover their talents.

Organized by the Tashkent regional council of the Kamolot Youth Social Movement jointly with departments of public education, culture and sports, the festival is designed to reveal and stimulate juvenile talents and boost their interest in arts.

Asalkhon Hozirkhonova from Ahangaran is among the winners of the festival.

“I have taken part in this competition with my poems,” she says. “I am glad that many appreciated them. The success gives me more strength and energy.”

Winners of all nominations have won the right to participate in the national round of the festival.
