Rector of Samarkand State University named after Sharaf Rashidov, Rustam Kholmurodov, held a meeting with the President of the Russian National Research Centre “Kurchatov Institute”, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Mikhail Kovalchuk.

Academician Mukhsin Ashurov and professors, teachers, and researchers from Samarkand State University attended the event.

Opinions and proposals were expressed at the meeting on expanding bilateral scientific-practical cooperation among educational and research institutions of the two countries, on the use of digital technologies in medicine and biology, and on academic exchanges.

The need to implement practical actions in this direction was emphasized.
