At the initiative of the Hunarmand Association, an exhibition and fair of handicrafts “Souvenirs of Uzbekistan” took place in Tashkent.

About 100 folk craftsmen from all regions of Uzbekistan took part in the event, which aims at further developing handicrafts in Uzbekistan, popularizing and preserving national cultural values.

The exhibition featured products made from national fabrics – adras and atlas, gold embroidery and jewelry, pottery and carpet products, as well as unique works created in various areas of folk craft.

The event also included masterclasses, during which the guests were able to see the manufacturing process with their own eyes and even take part in some stages of the work.

The fair has become an effective platform for demonstrating national traditions and exchanging experiences between artisans.
