The Hokim of Jizzakh region Ergash Saliyev received members of the delegation led by the Deputy State Secretary of Hungary for Innovation László Bódis.

Ergash Saliyev sincerely thanked the guests for their visit and informed them about the region’s socio-economic and investment potential, Jizzakh’s higher education institutions, and investment projects implemented in the region’s driver areas: the automotive industry, textile industry, production of building materials, agriculture, and tourism.

The head of the Hungarian delegation László Bódis expressed gratitude to the Hokim of the region for the reception and highly appreciated the cooperation between the two friendly states – Uzbekistan and Hungary.

The delegation visited the free economic zone “Jizzakh”, in particular, the BYD Uzbekistan Factory, the confectionery factory Deya, and got acquainted with the conditions in the Presidential School and the innovative education and industrial technopark “Inno”.
