The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Dubai, the leadership of the independent creative project Art in Motion, in collaboration with the consulates of Kazakhstan and Russia, organized a major international competition-festival of choreographic art Dance-Fest Dubai 2024.

Over 200 dancers from Uzbekistan, the United Arab Emirates, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, and Russia demonstrated their art and skill.

According to the competition results, Muslima Makhmudova, the dancer of the State Dance Ensemble “Bakhor” named after Mukarram Turgunbayeva, took the Grand Prix in the “folk dance (solo)” nomination.

The Kazakh ensemble “Altyn Dan”, Russian dance groups “Pulsar”, “Baikal Idel” and “Rosinki Transbaikalia” took prizes in the categories “Collective Folk Dance” and “Modern Choreography”.

The event was attended by employees of diplomatic missions in foreign countries, compatriots in the UAE, media representatives, and bloggers.
