Artisans from Uzbekistan took part in the international forum in Saint Petersburg, where they presented the country’s cultural legacy and folk crafts school.

The event began with a showcasing of Shakhzoda Gafurova’s collection. Her collection, harmoniously combining national traditions and modern style, aroused great interest among the audience.

Islam Zohidov also presented his collection, which combines national ornaments and traditional craft techniques with modern trends.

The awarding ceremony of the Commonwealth of Fashion Award in the nomination “For contribution to the development of international cooperation” was held within the framework of the forum.

Kamola Gulomova, Chairman of the Central Asian Union of Designers and a member of the Creative Central Asia Network, became the first winner.

The award was established to reward specialists who make a significant contribution to the development of creative, cultural, and industrial cooperation in the region.
