The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Egypt hosted a meeting with the President of the Cairo Center for Strategic Studies, Ahmed Al-Moslemany.

The establishment of cooperation between the Cairo Center and similar institutions of Uzbekistan was discussed at the meeting.

An agreement was reached to hold this year, together with the Center, scientific and practical workshops and a roundtable discussion dedicated to the upcoming elections of the President of Uzbekistan, the achievements of the new Uzbekistan over the past 5 years, the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Independence of Uzbekistan and the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
