The leadership of the Saint Petersburg Research and Design Institute met with the Hokim of Tashkent region, Zoyir Mirzayev.

In March this year, representatives of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Tatarstan paid a working visit to Tashkent region. Within its framework, together with local officials of the region, studies were carried out on a radical reform of the transport system in large cities. In particular, a proposal was put forward to develop a draft master plan to create a convenient transport system in Olmaliq, Chirchiq, and Nurafshan.

A presentation of the draft master plan, prepared based on the analysis carried out by experts from Tatarstan, took place. It provides measures to increase the capacity of large intersections, organize separate lanes for buses, establish multi-seat buses and reduce the intervals between them, and, most importantly, introduce an automated payment system.
