Spain’s Patentes Talgo S.L.U., within the framework of the signed contract, will carry out maintenance of high-speed electric trains in Uzbekistan.

According to Uzbekistan Railways, the Acting Chairman of the Board of the company, Khusnutdin Khasilov, met with Patentes Talgo S.L.U. delegation led by Enrique Riesco, EU-CIS Commercial Director.

The parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the maintenance of high-speed electric trains, as well as their further development. The practical implementation of interaction for the development of cooperation in the railway sector was reflected in the next joint agreements.

At the virtual meeting with the Chief Financial Officer of Patentes Talgo S.L.U. Álvaro Segura, a contract was signed for the maintenance of high-speed electric trains. The contract includes maintenance of the existing 6 units of Afrosiab high-speed electric trains for 4 years.
