The International Institute for Central Asia (IICA) hosts a conference on “Shanghai Cooperation Organization: From Central Asia to Eurasia”, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the SCO Charter.

The international conference is attended by national coordinators of the SCO member states, the Secretariat, the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure of the organization, leading experts from analytical structures of Central Asian countries, Russia, China, Iran, India, Pakistan, Belarus, Azerbaijan, as well as representatives of ministries and agencies of Uzbekistan.

The participants will consider the prospects for ensuring strategic stability and security, promoting regional cooperation in Central Asia through strengthening confidence-building measures among the SCO members.

IICA Director Anvar Nasirov addressed the conference.
