Today, a ceremonial welcome was held at the Tashkent International Airport for Uzbekistan athletes who achieved outstanding results at the 3rd Asian Youth Games in Bahrain, competing in the disciplines of kurash and pencak silat.

Officials from the Uzbekistan Kurash and Pencak Silat Federations, coaches, and members of the public attended the event. They noted that the five gold and one bronze medals won by Uzbekistan athletes serve as clear proof of the talent and skill of Uzbekistan’s youth.

The inclusion of kurash in the Asian Youth Games program and the victory of Uzbekistan athletes in all four weight categories were also highlighted as significant achievements.
