A branch of Kazan Federal University to be opened in Jizzakh

Kazan Federal University will be opened in Uzbekistan. It was founded in 1804 and is one of the oldest universities in Russia.

A branch of this university will be opened in Jizzakh. It will train bachelors and masters in geology, software engineering, economics, mechanical engineering, medicine, dentistry, pharmacy and medical biochemistry.

The university will conduct fundamental, scientific-practical and innovative researches. This will make it a part of the global educational and scientific community, strengthen and develop long-term cooperation with leading educational organizations, research centers and business communities of different countries.

According to the branch founders, at least 40 percent of its teaching staff will be formed from foreign teachers. A family polyclinic will be opened in the branch based on simulation and imitation training methods. An OpenLab research laboratory will be created here by the end of 2022, designed for conducting fundamental and practical scientific research.
