An Auezov South Kazakhstan State University branch will be established in Chirchik, Tashkent region.
It will train specialists in economic sectors according to international standards and modern requirements. Bachelor’s and master’s degree programs will be available for applicants. Students can study in 18 areas, including economics, law, biotechnology, information systems, mechanical engineering, transport, and others. The graduates’ diplomas of Auezov University will be recognized in Uzbekistan. At least five percent of the places are planned to be allocated on a grant basis to applicants with high results and people from needy families.
Within three months, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan will approve and register the branch’s charter and structure. The aim is to ensure the recruitment of teaching staff by the beginning of the 2024/2025 academic year and open a branch in September. For this purpose, a board of trustees, faculty, and library fund will be formed.
