The Hokim of Syrdarya region, Akmaljon Makhmudaliyev, received the Korean delegation led by the President of the Sun Moon University, Seong Jea Moon.

The parties discussed issues regarding the trip of regional representatives to this university in December 2023 and the practical aspects of the agreements reached. 

Seong Jea Moon proposed organizing a branch of the university in Syrdarya region. They supported the initiative and decided to open a branch in Gulistan. 

Training in IT, technology, and artificial intelligence will be organized. It is planned to transform the university into an educational cluster for training ready-made specialists for industrial sectors. The educational process at the university will be fully integrated with production.

The meeting participants signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.
