A branch of the Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia has been opened in Tashkent.

The event was attended by the Minister of Preschool Education, the Ambassador of Russia to Uzbekistan and representatives of the embassy. Participants discussed the current significance of reforms in the education system.

An independence lesson was held on the first day of the new academic year.
