A branch of a foreign university will open in Bukhara

In December 2021, a preliminary memorandum was signed between the Bukhara Regional Hokimiyat and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Rome on the establishment of a branch of the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli, one of the authoritative higher education institutions in Italy. In accordance with the signed agreement in Bukhara, the university will train specialists in construction, architecture, fashion design, and higher nursing. Responsible persons from the Italian university visited the new building of Bukhara State Medical Institute.

Italian scientists highly appreciated the conditions and opportunities created at the institute, the medical equipment, the new clinic and the capabilities of the Simulation Center. They talked with students studying under a joint program with the University of Campania in the direction of higher nursing.

It is planned to train personnel together with the Italian university in medicine, pharmacy and various narrow specialties in Bukhara region. Qualified professors from the specified foreign university will be involved in the education process in the branch. Students will have the opportunity to practice in Europe.

In the future, Italian specialists will assist in the modernization of scientific laboratories of universities in Uzbekistan, the allocation of grants to Uzbek students to obtain a Ph.D. degree, conduct research work by professors, education of students studying based on a bilateral diploma at the University of Campania.
