An article about the publication of Alisher Navoi’s works in Azerbaijani language has been published on the electronic portal of Azerbaijan’s Adabiyat Gazeti newspaper.

It reports that the works of the great Uzbek poet and thinker Alisher Navoi have been published in Azerbaijan under the auspices of the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation.

The publication reflects Alisher Navoi’s life and works, excerpts from poems. The book also includes 56 color miniatures on poet's works. There is a list of dictionaries and literature at the end of the publication.

The author of the book is the Head of the Department of Turkology of Baku State University, Doctor of Philology, Professor Ramiz Asker. He was awarded the title of honorary citizen of the city of Navoi for his service in promoting Alisher Navoi’s creativity. In his work, the scientist focused on the study of Uzbek literature, wrote many articles, translated historical works. Thus, Ramiz Asker was awarded the Babur International Prize for the translation of Baburname.
