Akmal Jumanazarov, Director of the Uzbek Agency for Technical Regulation and the leadership of the Saudi company ACWA Power, recently signed a memorandum on an investment project worth $1.7 million.

This memorandum introduces calibration services for measuring instruments used at renewable (wind and solar) power plants in the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

In this regard, a complex of laboratories equipped with high-precision modern measuring instruments will be created at the Karakalpakstan branch of the Uzbek National Institute of Metrology. This is currently a priority task.
