A regular meeting of the 10th Tashkent Regional District Election Commission, formed to conduct elections for the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, was held in Nurafshan.

Chairman Ulugbek Tukhtayev and members of the Election Commission discussed organizational issues and a work plan for the preparation and conduction of elections in the region.

At the meeting, a decision was made to establish polling stations. In particular, in accordance with the new Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Article No. 5 of the Electoral Code, 13 polling stations were additionally created to ensure the voting rights of citizens who are in penitentiary institutions and undergo treatment in neuropsychiatric dispensaries of the region. Thus, the establishment of 970 polling stations has been approved in Tashkent region.
