At the regular meeting of the Territorial Election Commission of Andijan region, the issue of establishing polling stations in the region for elections to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis and local Councils of people’s deputies was considered.

According to the procedure defined in the Election Code, polling stations are established by territorial election commissions upon the submission of city and district hokimiyats, commanders of military units and formations, and heads of detention and prison institutions. Polling stations are established, as a rule, when the number of voters is at least twenty people and does not exceed three thousand.

At the meeting on the placement of polling stations upon the submission of district and city hokimiyats, it was decided to establish 938 polling stations in the region. The ordinal numbers, boundaries, and list of addresses of polling stations were approved.
