Nurafshan city hosts the Session of Tashkent Regional Council of People’s Deputies.

Considering the current state of the tourism industry, it was noted that 80 percent of tourists visit Bostanlyk district, while in another district the infrastructure and services are low, and the number of local and foreign tourists is less than 1.5 million people.

The President noted that the main burden for the provision of tourism services falls on Bostanlyk district, however, the projects launched in this district have not yet yielded the expected results, since they are left to chance.

“The time has come to start work on creating modern tourism clusters in the mountainous areas of Parkent district, Angren and Akhangaran”, the Head of the state said.

The Hokim of each district and city of the region was instructed to develop a specific work plan for the development of tourism on their territory within a month and begin its implementation.

An instruction was given to attract a foreign expert to develop a master plan for the development of tourism in the region.
