The 6th Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia has kicked off in Astana.

According to Kazinform, the next meeting chaired by Kazakhstan coincided with the 30th anniversary of the initiative to convene the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia.

The leaders of participating countries of the summit and observer states, international organizations and structures are invited to the summit. According to the official representative of the Foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan, Aibek Smadiyarov, the event will be attended by representatives of 50 delegations. The post-pandemic summit is expected to be one of the largest political events on the continent. The results of the two-year chairmanship of Kazakhstan will be summed up. It is planned to sign several documents and make decisions.
