At the regular meeting of the Territorial Election Commission of Jizzakh region, issues of organizing a press center and creating polling stations for elections to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis and local Councils of People’s Deputies were discussed.

The Chairman of the Territorial Election Commission Shavkat Sharipov chaired the meeting. The Secretary of the Territorial Election Commission Dilshod Uralov informed about the first issue of the agenda. He also familiarized participants with candidates recommended for the press center of the territorial election commission. Four employees of the press center of the Territorial Election Commission of Jizzakh region were approved.

On the second issue of the agenda, the participants heard information from Deputy Chairman of the Territorial Election Commission Tulkin Yunusov. The representations of the city and district hokimiyats on the location of polling stations were considered. As a result, a decision was made to establish 553 polling stations in the region.
