President Shavkat Mirziyoyev chairs a videoconference on the urgent tasks of introducing a new system of working with youth.

The Head of state noted that 116,000 young people have disabilities, 30,000 have chronic diseases, 32,000 young people are on preventive and 16,000 are on probation registration, and 9,000 young people are constantly skipping classes.

It was defined that 50 young people and girls from the third category who need attention will be assigned to each minister, deputy minister, hokims of regions, districts, and cities, heads of sectors, rectors of higher education institutions, commanders of the National Guard, and military units.

It was emphasized that ministries and agencies, local hokimiyats should focus on working with 4.6 million young people belonging to the category of “average”.
