It is known that the e-Government Project Management Center is constantly analyzing the digitalization process in Uzbekistan, and introducing electronic public services for the convenience of the population.
It should be noted that since the beginning of this year, 68 new online services have been launched in the Single Portal of Interactive Public Services (my.gov.uz), and the total number of electronic public services has reached 368. 240 services are provided free of charge. A 10 percent discount is set for paid services in the my.gov.uz system.
“This year, more than 12 million of our compatriots and entrepreneurs have used e-government services through my.gov.uz”, says Dilshod Mirzayev, Head of the Department for the Development of the E-Government System. – In 2022, 50 new types of electronic public services were introduced into the my.gov.uz mobile application, their number reached 160.
This year, Uzbekistan has risen by 18 positions in the UN E-Government Development Index (EGDI) and ranked 69th among 193 countries in the world.
According to the World Bank’s GovTech Maturity Index results, Uzbekistan has risen by 37 positions in public administration and public services, and by 65 positions in digital skills and innovation in public services.
The Open Data Inception for 2022 shows that Uzbekistan ranked 4th among 201 countries.
In 2023, new services will be launched on the Single Portal to create convenience for the population and entrepreneurs, in particular, sending an online application for admission to the 1st class, obtaining a preferential transport card, submitting real estate history data, and so on. Work to simplify the launched services will continue.
