The next meeting of the Territorial Election Commission of Navoi region was held.

At the meeting, during which the issues of establishing polling stations and creating a press center under the Territorial Election Commission were considered, the Deputy Chairperson of the Commission Gulnoz Aslonova delivered a report.

– Polling stations are established no less than sixty days before the elections, as a rule, with several voters of no less than twenty and no more than three thousand, – Ms. Aslonova said. – The Territorial Election Commission received submissions on establishing polling stations from 3 city and 8 district hokims through the “E-saylov” information system. They indicate the names of mahallas and streets within the boundaries of the polling station, the serial numbers of private and apartment buildings, the number of voters, and the address and cadastral number of the building in which the precinct election commission is located. Territorial election commissions create polling stations in places of detention and imprisonment upon the proposal of the heads of these institutions. They are included in the composition of electoral districts in the territory where they are located.

In the region, 430 polling stations have been formed, of which 289 are in general education schools, 53 are in the buildings of the CAM, 26 are in lyceums and technical schools, 25 are in cultural and sports centers, 12 are in the buildings of state enterprises and organizations, 11 are in medical, health resort and health institutions, 11 are in military units, prisons, 2 are in higher education institutions, and 1 is in a building belonging to entrepreneurs.

At the meeting, a decision was made to establish the activities of a press center consisting of 4 people.
