The 5th International Congress on the study, preservation and popularization of Uzbekistan’s cultural heritage will be held within the framework of the Cultural Legacy Week in Tashkent and other cities of Uzbekistan on 13-21 September this year.

40 new illustrated album books about Uzbekistan’s cultural heritage will be presented at the event. More than 350 scientists, historians, orientalists from over 40 countries will attend the Congress.

The event will open with a plenary session on the activities of the World Society for the Study, Preservation and Popularization of the Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan. A solemn ceremony of donating 500 volumes of album books “The Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan” to museums and libraries of the world will take place.

By tradition, the Congress will end with the adoption of an appeal by members of the World Society to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and a final resolution.
