State Committee for Veterinary and Livestock Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan and General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China held a videoconference.

Issues within the framework of the agreement on requirements for inspection, quarantine and veterinary of honey exported from Uzbekistan to China, signed on August 27, 2019 in Beijing between the two agencies were discussed at the meeting.

It was noted that the quality certificate of honey, which is planned to be exported from Uzbekistan to China, was approved by Chinese experts. Six honey producers from Uzbekistan were successfully included in the list of companies that export this product to China and received the appropriate permits.

An agreement was also reached on registration for other promising enterprises wishing to export honey to China.
