Muynak district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan hosted an event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea.

Deputy Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan R. Saparbayev congratulated on this date. A group of employees who worked selflessly in the sphere for many years was awarded titles, badges and certificates of honor. The winners of the contest “Innovative solutions in the development of the Aral Sea Region” among students, as well as the contest of drawings and essays “New Aral – through the eyes of children” among schoolchildren, were awarded.

The winners received 10 million UZS, the second-place winners – 5 million UZS, and the third-place winners received 3 million UZS. All participants were also awarded certificates of honor and memorable prizes from the Nukus branch of the Executive Committee of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea.

The solemn event ended with a festive concert program.
