The Central Election Commission accredits media representatives to observe election preparation work and participate in all events related to their conduct.
Issues related to the accreditation of media representatives and observers from foreign countries were discussed at the CEC’s regular meeting.
Applications for accreditation of representatives of foreign and local media to participate in events to prepare for and conduct elections of deputies to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis and local Councils, scheduled for October 27 this year, are submitted electronically through the “E-saylov” information system in a completely new manner.

Notably, applications for accreditation are sent not only electronically, but also in a simplified manner.
In accordance with the agenda of the meeting, the issue of accreditation of another group of international and foreign observers was considered. In particular, 109 representatives of international organizations, as well as foreign central election bodies of Malaysia, the Republic of Maldives, Armenia, Azerbaijan, the Philippines, Georgia, Moldova, Pakistan, Türkiye, foreign government bodies, ministries, agencies, research institutes of Austria, Armenia, Belarus, the UK, Belgium, Spain, Kazakhstan, Korea, Latvia, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Azerbaijan, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Thailand, France, Japan, and India were accredited as observers.
To date, 291 international and foreign observers have been accredited.
