As previously reported, briefings are being held at the Press Center of the Central Election Commission with the participation of representatives of ministries and agencies. In particular, a briefing was held with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan B. Aloyev, during which information was provided on the work carried out to ensure the participation of Uzbekistan citizens abroad in the elections.
As noted, 56 polling stations have been established at the embassies and consulates of Uzbekistan in 39 foreign countries. To provide convenience to compatriots, a special electronic service was introduced to include them in the general list of voters. On the website of the Dunyo Information Agency under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, an interactive map was developed and posted indicating the addresses of polling stations organized in foreign countries. This interactive map was used by over 165 thousand of our compatriots abroad.

From June 28 to July 5 this year, advance polling in the elections of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan took place at polling stations organized in foreign countries.
906 mobile polling stations were additionally organized to create convenience for compatriots in 45 foreign countries where many Uzbeks live, including in cities without our diplomatic missions.

During the advance polling, 180,729 citizens exercised their constitutional rights.
As noted at the briefing, to raise awareness of our citizens abroad and the local population about this important political event, more than 650 campaigns, meetings, conversations and briefings were organized by the country’s diplomatic missions and consular offices. More than 82 thousand people took part in them.

It should be noted that 231,776 voters are expected to participate in the early elections of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, organized in foreign countries.
