The birth of a child on New Year’s Day is a double holiday.

According to the statistics of previous years, 1961 children were born in 2018 on January 1, in 2019 – 1708, in 2020 – 1974 children, in 2021 – 1644, and 2022 – 2316 babies.

This time, on the first day of the new year, 2,155 babies were born in Uzbekistan, of which 1,099 are boys and 1,056 are girls.

Fergana region became the leader in terms of birth rate, in which 252 new residents were added in a day.
