The People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan held a roll call within the framework of the project “We are in charge of the well-being of the elderly”.

Within the framework of the project, lists of pensioners, single and elderly people in need of social protection were drawn up. 5 people from each district has been included in this list. Face-to-face meetings were held on this address list, conditions of residence and problems were studied.

The event was attended by deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, senior officials of the Central Council of the People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, party activists, employees of “Nuroniy” Fund, “Makhalla” public charitable foundation, “Oila” scientific practical research center under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, makhalla activists, mass media.

The People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan held about 800 events at places and open dialogues with pensioners and elderly people. 2500 appeals, proposals and opinions of the population on social sphere were received during the receptions and open dialogues.

2150 appeals were positively resolved by the party’s deputy group in local councils, legal advice of specialists was given on 314 issues, 36 issues were transferred to relevant organizations, and their execution was taken under control.

Tasks were identified on improving the regulatory framework in the course of measures on addressing issues forwarded by elderly, pensioners and people with disabilities, providing them with social assistance.
