Uzbekistan has achieved significant results in implementing an active, open, pragmatic, and deeply thought-out foreign policy that meets the country’s national interests and is aimed at enhancing collaboration with countries near and far abroad.

One example: during last year’s visit of the Head of our state to the Kyrgyz Republic, issues of strengthening relations between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan based on friendship, good neighborliness, and strategic partnership were discussed. Priority areas of mutually beneficial cooperation were noted, and first of all, the need to increase the trade turnover and expand its range was emphasized.

We note with particular pride that for his outstanding contribution to strengthening friendship, good neighborliness, and multifaceted cooperation, the Leader of Uzbekistan was awarded the organization’s highest award – the CIS Badge of Honor.

We are confident that in the new year, a wise and humane policy, carried out under the leadership of the Head of our state, will serve the further economic, spiritual, educational, and cultural development of our country, strengthening its foreign policy positions, as well as an atmosphere of friendship, interethnic harmony, unity, and cohesion.

We hope 2024 will be a year of even stronger good neighborliness, friendship, cooperation between peoples, and significant progress for Uzbekistan in all areas.
