$200 million to be allocated to support businesses affected by the coronavirus pandemic
It is planned to attract a loan of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) of $200 million to support enterprises affected by the coronavirus pandemic, provide them with working capital and increase production capacity, including projects in manufacturing, agriculture, wholesale and retail trade, public catering and transport.
According to Norma.uz, on December 28, 2021, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution “On measures to attract and use a credit line from the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank to support the business during the coronavirus pandemic”.
Preliminary agreements on this issue have been reached by the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade, the Ministry of Finance and the National Bank for Foreign Economic Activity.
