According to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, on this day 1,961 babies were born in 2018, in 2019 – 1,708, in 2020 – 1,974, in 2021 – 1,644, in 2022 – 2,316, in 2023 – 2,155 babies.
847 newborns born on January 1, 2024, are girls, and 1012 are boys.
Most babies were born in Kashkadarya region – 207.
In Andijan region – 201 (including twins in one case);
In Samarkand region – 196 (twins in seven cases);
In Fergana region – 195 (twins in four cases);
In Surkhandarya region – 185 (twins in one case, and triplets in another case);
In Namangan region – 178;
In Tashkent region – 172;
In Tashkent city – 144 (twins in one case);
In Bukhara region – 86 (twins in four cases);
In Jizzakh region – 78;
In Khorezm region – 72;
In the Republic of Karakalpakstan – 67 (twins in one case);
In Syrdarya region – 42 (twins in one case);
In Navoi region – 36 (twins in one case).
In total, twins were born in 22 cases, of which 21 cases were twins, and in one case triplets were born in Surkhandarya region.
