According to the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan, 1,644 babies were born in 2021, 2,316 in 2022, 2,155 in 2023, 1,859 in 2024, and 1,641 in 2025.

Of the babies born on January 1, 2026:

894 were girls,

921 were boys.

The highest number of newborns was recorded in Surkhandarya region (243 births).

Among these newborns, there were 17 twins (a total of 37 children): 30 were twin pregnancies, 3 were triplets, and 4 were quadruplets.
