1.5 tons of fresh Uzbek grapes have been delivered from Uzbekistan to Malaysia.

The delivery of grapes grown in Tashkent and Fergana regions was carried out with the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Malaysia.

The cargo was sent in a package labeled “Sweet Grapes from Uzbekistan”, which is an effective marketing move to increase the awareness of Uzbekistan products in the Malaysian market.

According to Deli Fruits Trading Company, this year the volume of fruit exports from Uzbekistan to Malaysia has been tripled compared to 2020.

In January-July, the trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Malaysia has already reached $50.1 million ($42.3 million in 2020).
