On January 18, the total number of COVID-19 cases since the beginning of the pandemic reached 208,271 people. 1,214 new cases have been recorded in Uzbekistan over the past day.

New patients have been identified in all regions of the country. Most of the newly infected people were registered in Tashkent city (542), Tashkent (181), Fergana (161), Samarkand (45) and Bukhara (40) regions.

The death of 3 patients from COVID-19 has been officially confirmed.

According to the Ministry of Health, 640 people have recovered in a day. 5796 patients are being treated.
