Exhibition: My Army – My Pride

The Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Uzbekistan’s Academy of Arts organized an exhibition entitled “My army – my pride” at Tashkent House of Photography. More than 350 paintings and creative works made in other fields of applied art were presented in it.

Opening the exhibition, Chairman of Uzbekistan’s Academy of Arts Akmal Nuriddinov and others stressed that the steadfast reforms in the armed forces of the country carried out under the leadership of the head of our state have been yielding their results. A national army has been formed that is capable of safeguarding the inviolability of borders of our Motherland and the peace and calmness of the people.

In the paintings performed by the participants, student-masters of the National Institute of Arts and Design named after Kamoliddin Behzod, as well as children of servicemen captured a large-scale work carried out in the years of independence, to increase the defence capability of our country, well-armed and well-equipped army and prosperous life of military personnel.

"We are witnessing changes and updates in the life of our people. This exhibition of paintings and creative works reflects a prosperous life of our people. In the country, necessary conditions are being created for the talented young people to manifest their creative and intellectual potential" says the Captain Jamshid Sultonov.
