Samarkand hosts a Gastronomic Festival at the initiative of the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Regional Hokimiyat and the Association of Cooks of Uzbekistan.
The dishes prepared by the festival participants are judged by the best chefs. For example, the dishes prepared by the staff of the restaurants “Zarafshan” in Navoi region and “Registan” in Samarkand deserve special recognition.
“From the “Zarafshan” restaurant we prepared a national dish pilaf, and a European one – salmon”, says Sevara Odilova. – We were invited to a gastronomic festival in Türkiye. We hope to contribute to the popularization of our national dishes.
Participants of the festival were awarded diplomas and memorable gifts.
