The Director of the International Institute for Central Asia, Javlon Vakhabov, signed a Cooperation Agreement with the Security and Policy Program Chair and board member of the Caspian Policy Center (CPC), Richard E. Hoagland, in Washington.
During his speech, Mr. Hoagland noted that cooperation between the parties will open up new opportunities for deepening scientific research and sharing experience in security, economics, and sustainable development.
According to Mr. Vakhabov, CPC became the first American analytical center with which IICA established partnerships. The signed agreement will mark new prospects for expanding scientific and expert exchange and strengthening academic cooperation between the two think tanks.
The cooperation lays the foundations for broader, integrated cooperation covering various fields of research, including economics, politics, energy, and regional connectivity in the broader trans-Caspian space.
The Caspian Policy Center is an independent, non-profit research institution in Washington, D.C., that aims to become a significant platform for research and debate that promotes a deeper understanding of the region's interconnected issues.
