A report by the EU Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Toivo Klaar, was presented at the International Institute for Central Asia on relations between the EU and Uzbekistan.

The parties discussed relations between the EU and Uzbekistan. Special attention was paid to the results of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s visit to Brussels, as well as to the priority areas for partnership development within the “European Union – Central Asia” format and the “CA+” initiatives. The participants also exchanged views on the region’s sustainable development and on strengthening interregional ties.

The event was organized as part of the Institute’s program to expand cooperation with foreign diplomatic missions.
