A delegation from Uzbekistan, led by Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Ilzat Qosimov, is participating in the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai. The delegation includes representatives from various ministries and agencies, as well as entrepreneurs.

The national stand of Uzbekistan features around 200 product types, supplied to the Chinese market by domestic companies in the mining, agricultural, textile, leather and footwear, and chemical industries. The exhibit highlights the country’s strong industrial and export potential and reflects its strategy to expand foreign economic relations, including strengthening cooperation with China.

The exhibition program includes a forum, panel discussions, a conference, and meetings with representatives of leading Chinese companies. These events, aimed at expanding partnerships, exchanging experience, and attracting investments in priority sectors of the economy, will help elevate business relations between Uzbekistan and China to a new level.
