Deputy Minister of Sports of Uzbekistan and Chairman of the Muay Thai Association, Avazjon Karimov, held a meeting with Hasan Yildiz, Vice President of the International Federation of Muaythai Associations (IFMA) and President of the European Muaythai Federation.

At the meeting, it was noted that Muay Thai has experienced significant development in Uzbekistan in recent years, with the necessary conditions now in place for Uzbekistan athletes to participate in international competitions.

The parties also discussed proposals for organizing joint training camps and tournaments, inviting qualified judges from Türkiye, and holding a Muay Thai championship among Turkic states in Uzbekistan.
