Ferkhat Ermanov, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, met with Samia Hajjou, Strategy Manager of one of Saudi Arabia’s major investment companies – Al Kathiri Holding.

The parties discussed issues related to expanding economic cooperation and implementing joint projects in the fields of infrastructure and construction. They also reviewed the potential for launching a project to build 20,000 affordable housing units in Nukus using Emmedue technology. This initiative is expected to contribute to the development of social infrastructure in the region and improve housing availability for the population.

The meeting also addressed prospects for cooperation in the modernization of the international airport in Nukus.
