The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili.

The parties exchanged views on a wide range of issues concerning cooperation between Uzbekistan and Georgia, as well as on current regional and international matters. Particular attention was given to the prospects for expanding political dialogue, fostering closer business community ties, and promoting tourism and humanitarian exchanges.

Mr. Saidov noted that substantive and comprehensive discussions were held during the negotiations, covering issues of bilateral cooperation, regional and global agendas, and identifying new goals to be achieved shortly. He expressed gratitude to the Georgian side for its constructive approach to fostering cooperation.

The foreign ministers emphasized the great potential for deepening contacts and confirmed their readiness to maintain close cooperation between the foreign ministries of the two countries.

Following the meeting, the Cooperation Program between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Georgia for 2025-2026 was signed.
