Uzbekistan plans to produce electric scooters with the participation of a Malaysian business. The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Malaysia, Karomiddin Gadoyev, and the Managing Director of Pro Events and Marketing Sdn Bhd, Elaine Tam, discussed the project implementation prospects.
The Malaysian side is considering the possibility of launching the production of three- and four-wheeled compact electric scooters, noting the high potential of this segment in Uzbekistan. According to preliminary estimates, the annual production volume may reach 5,000 scooters, with a subsequent increase to 10,000, taking into account the export opportunities of the Central Asian market.
In addition, Pro Events and Marketing Sdn Bhd representatives expressed interest in cooperation in implementing software for medical diagnostics based on artificial intelligence in Uzbekistan’s healthcare sector.
In the coming months, the company’s leadership plans to visit Uzbekistan to study the conditions for implementing the proposed projects.
